ABOUT STAFFORD TRIATHLON CLUB

Stafford Triathlon Club was founded in 2005 by a small group of local athletes all of whom shared a mutual interest in the sport and felt that they wanted to share that enthusiasm. The club has a very diverse flavour with members competing in a wide range of events. These not only include triathlons – from sprint to Ironman distance - but also duathlons as well as swimming, biking and running races on a stand alone basis. As the traditional summer races come to an end, our club members enjoy bike and run cross country events as well as Adventure Racing.

Members have run the London Marathon and competed in events all over the world including the Triathlon World Championships in New Zealand and ITU Elite races in Madrid and Yokohama to name but a few. Closer to home, Stafford Tri witnesses large numbers of its members representing the club and supporting local competitions across the region, for example in Derby and Shrewsbury.
